Certain conditions may be contraindicated for permanent makeup

Pregnancy and Breastfeeding: While there is limited research on the effects of permanent makeup   during pregnancy or breastfeeding, I prefer to avoid the procedure during this time due to potential hormonal changes and increased sensitivity.

  • Skin Conditions:
    • Active skin conditions in the eyebrow area, such as eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, or rosacea, can interfere with the healing process and may be contraindications. Permanent make up  should not be performed on irritated or inflamed skin.
  • Blood Disorders:
    • Conditions that affect blood clotting or increase the risk of bleeding, such as hemophilia or certain bleeding disorders, may be contraindications. Excessive bleeding during the procedure can compromise the results.
  • Keloid Scarring:
    • Individuals with a tendency to develop keloid scars may be at risk of excessive scarring after microblading.
  • Immunosuppressive Medications:
    • Medications or medical conditions that suppress the immune system may impact the healing process and increase the risk of complications. It's important to discuss any immunosuppressive medications with your doctor before booking the appointment.
  • Recent Cosmetic Procedures:
    • Recent cosmetic procedures in the eyebrow area, such as botox  may affect the procedure. It's advisable to wait for these procedures to fully settle before getting permanent makeup.
  • History of Allergic Reactions:
    • Individuals with a history of allergic reactions to pigments or other substances may be at risk of an adverse reaction to the permanent makeup pigments. Patch testing may be recommended.
  • Chemotherapy/Radiation:
    • Individuals undergoing or recovering from chemotherapy or radiation therapy may be advised to wait until their health stabilizes before considering permanent make up. Talk to your doctor.
  • Diabetes:
    • Individuals with diabetes may experience slower healing and are more prone to infections. Proper management and consultation with a healthcare provider are essential.

Open communication and honesty about health conditions are key to a successful and safe  experience. I offer free consultation!

Permanent Makeup requires pre-care and after care for several important reasons,

    • -Skin Preparation: Pre-care helps prepare the skin for the permanent make up procedure. This may involve avoiding certain skincare products or treatments that could make the skin more sensitive or prone to adverse reactions.
    • -Enhanced Healing: Proper pre-care instructions contribute to optimal healing after microblading. Healthy, well-moisturized skin tends to heal more efficiently, minimizing the risk of complications and ensuring better pigment retention.
    • -Reduction of Discomfort: Pre-care measures, such as avoiding blood thinners or certain medications, can reduce the likelihood of discomfort during the procedure. The most exceptional outcomes arise when clients diligently follow before/after care.
  •  Your results are a collaborative effort – my skill combined with your attentive home care. Strictly adhere to the provided instructions for optimal, impeccable results!"
  • Numbing creams may also be more effective on well-prepared skin.

Does permanent makeup requires down time?

Minimal time!  After the permanent make up  procedure, there is a healing process that takes place. The day of the procedure  you may experience minor redness, minor swelling.

The initial healing period usually takes about 14 days, during which you might need to avoid wearing makeup on the treated area, direct sun exposure, and certain activities that may affect the healing process, such as swimming.

After this initial healing, a touch-up session is  scheduled to perfect the results. It's essential to follow the precare and aftercare instructions to ensure the best possible outcome.

After booking request  is accepted,  precare and aftercare instructions will be sent to your email with the  instructions.

Will permanent makeup replaces makeup?

Permanent makeup, offers a low-maintenance solution to enhance your eyebrows, providing a beautifully defined look. However, it doesn't entirely replace your regular brow makeup routine. If you prefer a full face of makeup, you may find it beneficial to complement your enhanced brows by adding a touch of makeup, creating a seamless connection with your overall look.

On the other hand, if you embrace  your natural beauty,  permanent makeup can render your brows looking effortlessly amazing, eliminating the need for additional makeup application. It allows you to confidently showcase your unique features without the daily requirement of makeup, offering a hassle-free and beautiful aesthetic.

Does permanent makeup hurt?

The pain is minimal, numbing cream is applied  before and during the procedure. Afterward  you might experience feeling like a sunburn for the first 24 Hrs.

DO NOT TAKE pain medication before your appointment. It's not  necessary and can cause bleeding. Numbing cream is very effective.

Why inicial appointment is booked for 2-3 hours?

  • -Consultation: The appointment may start with a consultation to discuss your preferences, expectations, and any concerns.
  • -Designing the Brow Shape:I will freehand and design based on your face futures and little by little adjusting the drawing to create a shape that you will love. This is the most important part and takes the most time.
  • -Procedure: The actual permanent makeup  process is less then 45 minutes for brows and 1 hour for lips.
  • -Aftercare Instructions: I will provide you with a kit and aftercare instructions to ensure proper care of procedure.

Keep in mind that these are general estimates, and the actual time may vary. It's essential to arrive on time and paperwork be done prior to arrival.

Permanent Makeup Durability?

My average client returns for touch up 2-3 years for a color refresh.Permanent makeup naturally fades over time, the speed of fading depends on factors like skin type, age, lifestyle, body chemistry and sun exposure.

As a reminder, permanent make up is a 2 step process! Does require a touch-up after      6 -12 weeks from the initial appointment to assess and perfect your results.

Clients with very oily or sensitive skin,  lack of pre and after care may require a 3rd touch up from the initial appointment.

Results vary and can't be guaranteed due to the skin's healing process, body chemestry, lifestyle and health condition.

If I have permanent makeup or a tattoo done before with a different technician, can I book an appointment with you?

Unfortunately, I don't accept clients with previous work done by a different technician, and I kindly ask for this decision to be respected. Working over somebody else's work can be challenging  and I choose only to do touch up clients who have worked exclusively with me. This is important information for future clients getting their brows done for the first time, choose wisely because it is safer to continue seeing the same technician through the years for consistent results and quality, their is many factors evolving the procedure,  procedure deap and craftship, ink brand composition varies brand to brand and technician style.
