4 WEEKS BEFORE PROCEDURE

 No Retinoids or Chemical Peels: STOP 4 WEEKS BEFORE PROCEDURE

Avoid using retinoids, Alpha Hydroxy Acid  or undergoing chemical peels in the eyebrow area at least four weeks before the procedure. Avoid Chemical Peels, Microdermabrasion or facials 4 weeks  prior to procedure as well. These can thin the skin and affect the procedure. 

 

3 WEEKS BEFORE PROCEDURE

 Avoid Waxing, Tinting and lamination. I will shape and design your brows for you.

2 WEEKS BEFORE PROCEDURE

    Avoid tanning, tanning beds  or excessive sun exposure on your face at least 2 weeks before the procedure. Sunburned or overly tanned skin may be more sensitive during the permanent makeup procedure

    10 DAYS BEFORE PROCEDURE

      Avoid taking blood-thinning medications, such as aspirin, ibuprofen, and certain vitamins A, B3,  E, C, D3  also fish oil, Melatonin, Co-Q10n, Amino acid arginine, Selenium, Magnesium, Quercetin, etcs.. These can increase the risk of bleeding affecting perfomace of the procedure. PLEASE NOTE if you are taking any medication, vitamin or supplements is your dilgenlency to research if they could potentially be bloood thinning. ANTIBIOTICS can affect the immune system, and a robust immune response is crucial for the healing of a permanent makeup.

      STOP 48 HOURS BEFORE

       Avoid  Alcohol and Caffeine:

      Reduce alcohol and caffeine consumption 48 hours leading up to the appointment, as these substances can also contribute to increased bleeding

      DAY OF YOUR PROCEDURE

       5 oz or less of coffe (caffeine  can also contribute to increased bleeding)

      • Ensure you are well-hydrated
      • I recommend no makeup especially the forehead and  eye area. If you arrive with makeup i will need to remove in order to sterilize the are.
      Active Acne

      Active Acne: Permanent Makeup should not be performed on areas with active acne lesions. Working on inflamed or irritated skin can increase the risk of infection and compromise the healing process. It’s advisable to wait until the acne has cleared before getting the procedure
